Description:
A
new
westbound bridge for I-235 will be built over E. University
and the Union Pacific railroad tracks. When the bridge
is completed in mid Dec. 2004, EB and WB I-235 traffic
will switch to the new roadway and work will begin on
the mainline roadway and bridges from E. 15th to Guthrie
Ave.; the East University and Easton Blvd. interchanges;
and extending Easton Blvd. underneath I-235.

Schedule: Jan. 2004 - Dec. 2005
Traffic
Impacts:
EB and WB traffic on I-235 will be shifted to the new
roadway Dec. 11, 2004. The following ramps will be closed at that time.
WB entrance ramp from E. University

EB entrance ramp from E. 15th
St.
EB exit ramp to Easton Blvd.
EB entrance ramp from Easton
Blvd.
The
following ramps will remain open until spring 2005. At
that time they will also close.
