A Guide to 2004 Construction Projects
Mainline paving in WDM
Mainline traffic lanes from the west I-80/35 interchange to
the 8th St. interchange will be rebuilt. |
63rd St. interchange
The interchange will be reconstructed from approximately July
2004 through the summer of 2005. |
42nd St./35th St./Median work
The 42nd St. interchange and 35th St. under the freeway will
be reconstructed. Median work from Cummins Pkwy. to 35th St.
will take place. |
5th/6th/7th streets
The interchanges will be reconstructed and new bridges built.

East 14th /E. 15th St.
The E. 14th St. interchange will be reconstructed. A new
ramp bridge will be built over E. 15th St. |
University Ave.
New bridges will be built over E. Univ. and the UP RR tracks.
WB traffic on I-235 will be shifted to the new roadway.

The interchange will be reconstructed. A new ramp bridge will
be built and exit and entrance ramps reconstructed.
